History of Mecca Cola

Mecca Cola created by French entrepreneur, Tawfik Mathlouthi, a Tunisian born lawyer and it represents a new type of social protest using the system of commercial product market significant.

Launched in November 2002 in France, Mecca Cola had sold more than two million of its 1.5 little by January 2003.

It all began when Tawfik asked his 10 year old son to give up drinking Coke. His son agreed but only if an alternative was provided.

Mecca Cola named after the Muslim holy city of Mecca. Mecca Cola expanding its brand to fifty four countries by 2003.

It is one of the latest coke challenges. It creators are taking cola wars to a whole new realm by advising it s target market to reject American products.

Mecca Cola was created with the intention of challenging United States based beverage dominance.

The swift international expansion of Mecca Cola can no longer be ignored by established competitors. The company relocated its headquarters to Dubai, in Middle East and was building a large industrial complex.
